About the role

WebSenor team is in charge of providing the DevOps tools, vision and culture to Device Integration Services. This
includes providing a continuous delivery and integration pipeline, infra and strategy to deploy on the Cloud,
release management, including common and staged environment to run automatic tests, monitoring, and
troubleshooting of department infrastructures. In the role of technical Engineering Manager of the WebSenor
team, you develop people, processes, strategy, foster innovation, and enable teams in successfully implementing
DevOps best practices in the department and beyond. You lead a cross-site Agile team, and collaborate with
peers and management to drive adoption of DevOps culture in the department and beyond.

Responsibilities:

● Lead and organize WebSenor team, which mission is to provide DevOps tools, infra and best practice to the
department, including System Validation staged infrastructure.
● Recruit, motivate and develop the team, define goals for direct reports, set up development plan and conduct
regular reviews.
● Drive the migration of our services to the AWS Cloud, following 5-Pillars of Well architected with AWS. Work
hand-in-hand with IT to implement solutions within the larger corporate platform.
● Account for continued availability of services.
● Account for team following Agile processes (SCRUM), team velocity, and results with quality.
● Ensure features developed by the department are properly defined, understood, implemented, tested and
place under configuration management through its lifecycle
● Plan releases with the proper documentation and training to efficiently industrialize to consumers of the
service. Develop on-demand release processes where teams can be autonomous in releasing their own
products in a safe way.
● Train back-ups and ensure redundancy of roles within the team. Document processes and training plans to
reduce the on-boarding period.
● Drive system quality.
● Drive implementation and continuous improvement of processes to support high-quality development and
support activities with optimal user experience.
● Provide support and advice when development teams need to setup or maintain CI/CD labs and workflows.
● Work for cohesive and standard procedures around DevOps, Quality and Release Management.
● Provide reporting and technical expertise to higher-level management and consumers of integrations services.
● Build solid relationships within and outside your department to ensure an efficient execution.
● Seek and fulfill the needs of the teams in terms of hardware, software, infra, tools and trainings.

Profile

● Total +10 years of experience in engineering
● 5+ years experience in SRE or DevOps team
● 2+ years working with AWS Cloud
● Good working experience on Jenkins, GitLab, Jira.
● Has Team Lead experience
● Great communication skills; Able to understand and communicate visions and how to lead a team, including
developing and motivating people.
● Cares for and empowers people
● Acting as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve problems
● Experience in SCRUM/Agile best practices and management
● Bring a track-record being an effective and diplomatic change agent
