AWS Cloud Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Developer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud environments.

Job Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, identity management, encryption, and access control.
• Expertise in designing and deploying scalable, secure, and highly available cloud systems.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Node.js, Bash, or Java.
• Experience with Docker, containerization, and ideally Kubernetes/EKS.
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture and microservices deployment.
• Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).

What you'll do

• Own delivery for client-facing web, mobile, AI, cloud or digital transformation work based on the role.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, QA and client stakeholders through discovery, build, launch and support.
• Write clear documentation, communicate risks early and keep delivery quality high.
• Contribute to reusable engineering practices, reviews and mentoring inside the WebSenor team.
